Our Position On Nickel Cadmium Battery Cells

  1. August 2007:  Now our choice in nickel cadmium is no longer the Best But, the Best "Available" battery cell.  We do not use battery cells manufactured in Chinese factories under Chinese management.
  2. Panasonic and Sanyo Sintered Positive Electrode cells 900-1200 Charge Discharge cells:  Panasonic dropped Nickel Cadmium, Sanyo only offers a 4Ah version for ProPac's, 60WH. Phase out of Nickel Cadmium Battery Cells.
  3. Panasonic and Sanyo Press Negative Nickel Cadmium Cells: 500 Charge Discharge Cycles.  We use the Sanyo KR5000DEL for ProPacs, 82WH.  500 Discharge Cycles
  4. Panasonic and Sanyo Foam Press Negative Nickel Metal Hydride cells: 500 Charge Discharge Cycles.
  5. Panasonic and Sanyo Lithium Ion Cells: 500 Charge Discharge Cycles.
    1. A big reason we now manufacture Lithium Ion Broadcast Batteries.  BUT, NO CHINESE BATTERY CELLS!
