Nickel Cadmium battery cells are environmentally unfriendly. Thanks to International Environmental Concerns and the good laws of other countries, our battery cell manufacturers have already started to phase nickel cadmium from their manufacturing lines. Panasonic did so three years ago. Being an Environmentally Conscious Company, and Now having our own line of broadcast battery packs, Rathbone Energy is now phasing nickel cadmium out as well and expects to be finished by 2010, no longer supporting the rebuild of Anton Bauer products. Being the only Battery Assembler Worldwide that supports rebuilding battery packs, we understand that this will create a hardship on those invested in Anton Bauer nickel cadmium but offer a great alternative.

Before you have Rathbone rebuild your battery belt consider what in 2008, we have encountered in parts accessibility, plus the nickel cadmium issue. As these battery belts wear with age, parts need to be replaced.
