Each custom manufactured
battery insert unit which is sold in a rebuild / recell and each new battery
pack built and installed by Rathbone Energy, Inc., is warranted against
defects in workmanship and materials for the period listed in the relevant
latest specification sheet of that item from date of purchase. Under this
warranty, our obligation will be limited to the repair or replacement of the
battery insert unit. Such repair or replacement will be FOB
our factory. Such repair or replacement of the battery insert will be made
only after our examination determines that said battery insert unit is
defective in material and/or workmanship.
Product returned
within 30 days of purchase, absolutely unused and in the same condition as
when it was originally shipped from Rathbone Energy, will be eligible for
cash refund not to exceed the cost of the battery or replacement.
Defective batteries
returned after 30 days will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of
Rathbone Energy based on the type of battery and type of rebuild service
purchased.
Premium battery packs and
battery rebuild inserts
will be warranted for up to
18 months. Defects found within the first 30 days can be returned for
replacement with a new insert or refund of cost of battery (not to include
inbound or outbound freight / handling charges) and less rental/usage fees
for time in service. After the first 30 days, replacement inserts will be
installed at a prorated amount based on the number of months the battery has
been in service. Time in service begins the date the battery is shipped
from Rathbone Energy, Inc. to the date received back into Rathbone Energy,
Inc., facilities.
Economy recell inserts
will be warranted for 12 months. Defects found in the insert within the
first 30 days can be returned for repair or refund. After the first 30
days, batteries can be returned for patch repair only.
Rathbone Energy does not
guarantee any circuit boards or electrical components in battery packs we
rebuild / recell.
New Lithium Ion batteries and
chargers
will be warranted for up to 12 months. Batteries determined Defective by
Rathbone Energy will be replaced with equivalent product. Chargers will be
replaced or repaired depending on the defect. Decision to repair or replace
will be at the sole discretion of Rathbone Energy, Inc.
Warranty replacement of any
premium battery insert installed by us will be pro-rated from the original
date of purchase against a new insert.
We exempt any warranty claims
when unit has been subject to misuse; abuse including high impact drops and
water emersion; extreme high discharge rates; extended high discharge rates;
repeated high discharge rates; extreme heat; extreme cold; failure to
maintain battery with a quality battery charger analyzer on a regular basis;
leaving battery on a trickle charge for extended periods of time; altered or
attempted to be repaired other than by Rathbone Energy, Inc., or any other
reason other than simple cell failure or battery pack cell assembly.
As per
battery cell manufacturers specification sheets, battery cells are
considered useable to 50% of capacity. Our premium rebuilds and new inserts
are considered good to 60% of capacity and our Economy recells are good to
50% capacity.
Battery Inserts NOT installed
by Rathbone Energy, Inc. personnel ARE NOT WARRANTED.
We reserve the right to
interpret any and all conditions and situations listed and those not here
listed in such a manner as we deem appropriate.
Under no circumstances shall
we, (Rathbone Energy, Inc, our officers, or our employees), be liable for
any injury, loss, damage, or expense suffered or incurred with respect to
any defective product, non-defective product or use of that product.
Each New Product of another
manufacturer sold through Rathbone Energy, Inc., is warranted against
defects in workmanship and materials for the period listed in the latest
specification sheet of that product from the original date of purchase
through the manufacturer of the product. Under this warranty, our obligation
will be limited to supplying a repair location address of, or contact
information for the manufacturer, for inspection and any repair or
replacement of the unit by the listed manufacturer. Such repair or
replacement will be FOB the location of the manufacture for said
product. Such repair or replacement will be made only after our
examination or that of the actual manufacturer determines that said unit is
defective in material and/or workmanship.
We exempt any warranty

No returns are accepted
without a return authorization number from Rathbone Energy , Inc. Client is
responsible for all inbound and outbound freight cost associated with any
warranty repairs including shipping cost and any required shipper insurance
fees for return of product to them from us by Ground shipment. Cash refunds
are not to exceed the cost of the battery. Any cash refunds are after
use/rental fee charges for time in client’s possession. Client may include
their DHL, FEDX Express, or UPS Bill of Laden Pre-Printed Return Label in
the box with the battery.
Any dispute will be governed
by the Laws of the State of Tennessee. Specifically, any litigation shall
be tried in the Cocke County, Tennessee, Sessions and/or Circuit Court
depending upon the monetary amount(s) and the varying Legal issues.
THE ABOVE LIMITED WARRANTY
SUPERSEDES ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.
